We stayed in this hotel for 14 days. Fully justifies its 3 stars. Before leaving, we chose an all-inclusive hotel, because we had a child with us. Before leaving, we chose an all-inclusive hotel, because we had a child with us. "All inclusive" included breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea (tea with cakes and ice cream) and dinner. Breakfast is the usual European (you will not be hungry), lunch and dinner are very good! There were many fish dishes, mussels, various types of meat, liver, grilled vegetables, sweets, fruits and much more. Wine red, white, beer and diluted UPI were for lunch and dinner at no extra charge. Coffee and tea only for breakfast and lunch. We checked into the hotel at 10 pm, but a late dinner awaited us at the restaurant, which also pleased us. The staff is friendly, even when on the day of departure in the hall we were waiting for the bus and we were no longer allowed to have an afternoon snack, the restaurant administrator invited us to have a bite to eat. The room was cleaned every day, but the towels were changed every other day, and the bed for 14 days -2 times by the maid herself and once at our request. They try to maintain cleanliness in the hotel and throughout its territory, which cannot be said about the beach. In general, the beach and the sea in this part of Croatia turned out to be a complete disappointment for me. . The beach is not very clean (old plastic glasses, plastic bottles were seen, which no one cleaned during the 14 days of our stay). The beach, as it were, consisted of parts: a concrete platform, then there was a pebble, and then sand. So you can choose where you like best. The sea is shallow, to swim you need to walk 60 meters, but for small children it was a plus. The water was clear, it seems to be clean, but there was no emerald-beautiful color (which I expected so much), because due to the relief features the sea is calm here (there were no waves at all) and in some places silt is deposited on the stones, which gives water grayish color. Although on other beaches (seen when visiting excursions) the water was just super! Medulin is a small village, there is no entertainment, except for cafes on the waterfront, souvenir shops and children's carousels. If it were not for the animators in the hotel, then everything is very quiet and calm. Girls and boys from the children's club did a great job! Children were entertained during the day, in the evening there was a program for adults. We went on our own by bus (the schedule is below in the hotel) to Pula. We were also on a boat trip along the coast of Istria (Porec-Rovinj-Vrsar). It was interesting that lunch and swimming in the bay were included. But if you are with children, think about how your child will endure this trip, since all the children who were on the boat endured this walk very hard and we are no exception (everyone was very sick), so there was a moment that I even regretted that took the child. After this walk, we did not dare to visit the Plitvice Lakes, because it takes a long time to go there and the tour takes the whole day (actually from 7 am to 11 pm), and there everything is very fast dashes (according to the stories of those who have been there). Money (euros and dollars) was changed at the guide (the exchange rate is higher than in exchangers in Medulin), but it is even better to change in Pula. In general, despite all the minuses, we liked the rest!

For example, in the neighboring Bilvidere - people flew in, they had an hour before the end of breakfast, and they were simply refused outright ...We were 10 minutes away. By the end of breakfast we went in and ate without problems. On the other hand, it’s also 3 *, the Medulin hotel, the interior is newer, but I don’t know how many tickets there, people didn’t complain about the service from there.
They clean every day, though the bed and towels will not be changed, only if you throw dirty things on the floor. The staff is friendly, the Croatian language is very understandable for Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Now for the nuances. The food (they took All inc. ) is very tolerable, they try. Wine and beer for lunch and dinner are excellent! ! !
The sea is shallow, you need to walk 40 meters along sharp stones to a depth, but with slippers this is normal. Basically, 90% of the rest are elderly people and families with children. There are no parties there, no discos, the rest is calm.
The park through which you will go to the sea is beautiful, coniferous trees are different, we don’t have such in Crimea. Birds sing just like in paradise!

Excursions are expensive, mostly 40-60-80 euros. Rent a car, not expensive. Do not take an excursion to Pula, it costs 31 euros. The bus stops in front of the hotel (schedule at the hotel) No. 25A goes to Pula for 15 minutes, the ticket costs 2 euros (15 kn), it stops right in front of the Colosseum in the center. The town is small, the arch of Sergius is nearby. There is a Serbian Orthodox Church, open on Sat. - Sun. And if you take a ticket from your host and throw away 31 euros and the tour lasts 9.00. -17.00. , i. e. kill the whole day, and then remember me  ) You will go around everything in a couple of hours maximum.
In general, do not be afraid to take excursions on the beach - it is cheaper and no one will deceive you.
The downside is that the guide will speak in Croatian, Italian, German and no boom-boom in Russian, read everything on the internet  ))))))) Be sure to take the "Istria tour" you will see small mountain towns, beautiful! Be sure to see Rovinj and Rvenu it's just Italy, so cool.
What else? If you walk from the hotel to the embankment and 100 meters along the main street towards the center there is a wine cellar. Mmmmm, great! ! It's called Terraneo. For bottling red wine liter - 2 euros, white - 1.70 euros, there is a women's sweet liqueur.
Fruits are cheap on stalls on the waterfront.
More. Buy sunglasses, they are all Italian there for 10 euros, the quality is very good. good.
Prosciutto, their national meat ...well, for an amateur, it costs 20-25 euros per kg. , it is better to buy from us. Honestly, basturma is better. To taste, salty dry salmon, without spices, and even the veins are not chewed, so, the chewing gum is salty.
Buy mint honey, it's something! ! Rakia - sweet moonshine.
Bring wine with you to your homeland, cheaper than 50 kn, in bottles, do not take it.
Girls, buy slippers for the beach there no more than 10-15 euros, there is a choice. Do not buy anything in the center of any city, the deeper the city, the cheaper everything is in shops.

Previously, this hotel was called Mutila. The hotel is fully consistent with its 3 stars. Located 5 minutes walk from the beach. The territory of the hotel is shared with other hotels: Belvedere, Holyday, Meduline. You can walk everywhere. Nearby are several large car campings and a nudist beach. The hotel has two swimming pools: children's and adult.

The rooms are more than modest, no air conditioning. But be patient. We only came to the room to spend the night, so without any claims, and in this case, paying extra for a sea view in this case does not make sense. The lack of air conditioning was compensated by an open balcony, since there are no mosquitoes. Of the luxury items there is a small refrigerator and a TV with a Russian channel. Linen is changed once a week, towels every other day. Croats understand Russian, German and Italian. They are friendly, not pushy.

The food in the hotel corresponds to the declared 3 stars. Nothing special.
At dinner, all drinks are paid. In addition to tap water) A bottle of mineral water 0.33 costs 10 kunas. Tip: take only breakfast, as you can have lunch and dinner in the city. Portions are simply huge, more than 2 dishes a normal person can not overpower. If it is written that the dish is for two, feel free to take it for three. Dinner for two will cost about 150-160 kunas (1 dollar = 4.7 kunas) with 0.5 beer. When ordering a pizza, know that it is medium in size, enough for two. Overall, you won't regret it. It's strange, but in Croatian restaurants there are no napkins on the tables, there is no logical explanation for this. They cook delicious. And there are a lot of places where you can eat, there are no problems with this. Prices are the same everywhere, so choose for yourself.

The sea is clean, but there is no beach. Large pebbles, nothing to do without special slippers. Do not enter the water. They scared me with sea urchins, but I didn’t notice them. Here they were on the islands, there are much more fish there. The hotel has almost none. It's a shame.
In order to sunbathe, you need to buy foam, like from tourists, it costs 30 kunas. Then it will be possible to lie down and next to the water.

From entertainment there is surfing, bicycle rental, boat rental, scooter, boat trips, with a transparent bottom. Car rental: Opel Corsa with AC 50 euros per day. A liter of gasoline with our money is about 55 rubles.
In the evening, the hotel has a semblance of animation, but, fortunately, it is for children and ends very quickly. So you can sleep. There are a lot of Italians and Germans in the hotel. Russian percent 5%, no more.
