The most shock was when we saw the sea..... it was not there at all, there was a bay, and there was a feeling that we were on a small ice river with boulders !!! ! I wanted to pick up our luggage and fly home. In the morning we skipped running to a meeting with our guide from the Biblio Globus (by the way, they said that this is a good hotel). The guide turned out to be the smallest woman, Olga, and she helped us successfully move out of the quake we got into, for 150 €. , we arrived at the Ivan hotel. Compared to what it was, the Ivan hotel and its territory and the presence of the sea, it seemed to us a paradise. Everything is good there !!! ! The main thing is the air, because it is on the outskirts of civilization, 6 km from the city of Sibennik. We were with two children (5 years old). But I'm unlikely to go there again.

But, everyone began to be settled after 13.00. The sign on the hotel is 4 *. In fact, this is a 3 * with an interference fit. The territory of the Solaris complex is located in a park area and is wonderful in itself. . The sea of Croatia is the best they have. But, the service deserves the harshest criticism. The rooms are very cramped. A maid with a vacuum cleaner is not placed there, which may be why cleaning is not done. She simply does not go to the balcony. Linen is not changed in the promised time (1 time in 3 days). Shampoo and soap should be taken with you. Upon check-in: two dead shampoo sachets and two tiny bars of soap. Nothing was reported for more than two weeks. There are no beach towels. If you want to change your towel, you need to throw it on the floor. But there was no certainty that they were hanging fresh. Breakfast: muesli, bacon, sausages, yogurt, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs. Dinner: fish, meat, chicken or turkey. No marine delights (mussels or the like). Water at dinner is free, but you still need to "get" it. The waiters periodically fill a jug or two, then leave, and the people stand and wait. You are not allowed to use the vending machine yourself. Everything is covered with a cloth. Or remove it and do it for a fee, or without any queues. From fruits: apples, oranges, bananas always. Peaches, nectarines, melon and watermelon in small pieces. If we get lucky. After lunch, local youths come and hang out on the territory of the Ivan Hotel. At the Ivan hotel, the entry into the sea is normal, but in slippers, of course, it is more comfortable and the shower on the beach is free. Ivan also has a swimming pool with slides on the shore, paid for everyone. Hotel Juri has a colony of hedgehogs, and you need to put a coin in to take a shower. The contingent of the hotel is Russians, Italians, some French and Germans. The majority are local families. Age categories - a lot of children of diaper age, there are also enough pensioners. Of the excursions - Plitvice Lakes are quite close, noticeably closer than from Istria. Definitely worth a visit. The nature there is amazing. Even in hot weather, the tour will not be tiring. Dubrovnik is 6 hours away one way. On departure, the Split airport was replaced with Zadar and the time was 2 hours later. But, the hotel was still taken out at 6.00 am. Although the airport is not much further. The flight was cancelled. There were double boarding passes and two women were forced to fly, as they put it, "in the kitchen. " Conclusion - the quality of service is much lower than the price. Only 20 minutes and you get to the Krka National Park - a miracle of nature, crystal clear water, emerald lakes, views from which you can’t take your eyes off, the singing of rare birds, the scent of flowers and the sound of water, a boat trip, in places where tourists rarely wander, where no people and only mountain goats greet us at the edge of the cliff. They left their signature in an ancient book intended for tourists in the Franciscan monastery.
And, undoubtedly, the most vivid impression of the entire trip is the fabulous, majestic city of Split. It strikes, it does not leave indifferent. The energy emanating from this city is breathtaking. Having passed through an underground tunnel, formerly a place of imprisonment of Christian martyrs, he “blows the roof off” from what he saw. Once upon a time, the son of a former slave, Emperor Diocletian, after his abdication, built a palace for himself, more reminiscent of a fortress or a military camp, and 1700 years ago, the walls of the palace seemed to grow out of the water, in the center there was a gate access to which was only from the water. Passing through them, a view of the “modest” dwelling of the emperor opens. Libraries, baths, a cathedral and a “magic” bell tower, to climb which, you need to have more than a dozen shares of courage, all made of white stone, battered by time. It is about him that a legendary saying has been preserved: when Diocletian was begged to return to the throne, he refused, when asked why? - Oh, if you could see what kind of cabbage I have grown in Split.
