Traveled with my husband at the beginning of August. We went with Tez Tour - did not let us down. All liked it. When we were going to Croatia, we could not choose a hotel for a long time. there were many negative reviews and at the same time ancient ones. There was a feeling that no one goes there at all. I can say for sure that these old reviews are often no longer true. … More ▾ Traveled with my husband at the beginning of August. We went with Tez Tour - did not let us down. All liked it. I'll start in order. We flew to Croatia with Newstravel, the host of the IBCI. From the airport to go to the hotel for about 2 hours, maybe more, maybe less, it already depends on how many hotels you need to visit on the way.
The hotel is on the first line from the sea. The town of Tucepi itself is small, along the entire coast there is an embankment with shops and cafes. The beach is pebbly, but since the water during our stay in the sea was very cold, we did not swim. This was offset by the fact that the water in the hotel pools is sea. There are several pools near the hotel - an adult max 1.70 m, four children's 0.7 m, 0.6 m, 0.5 m, and a paddling pool and there is still indoors. There were enough sunbeds near the pools in June for everyone. Near the sea, one sunbed costs 30 kunas and the same amount for an umbrella. If you go left or right, you can find cheaper. Pine trees grow along the entire beach, and many lie in their shade.
As for the room, it seemed small to me. According to the voucher, our room was called 2+2, but over the past few years I have not come across such a small number. In principle, if you are not going to spend your vacation in a room, then this is not essential. And we were unlucky with the position of the room. Our balcony overlooked the street, which leads to the embankment, and there is a constant movement. mopeds, it was especially annoying in the evening and at night (this is annoying zzzzzzz), so I always had to sleep with the balcony closed. And besides, the transport serving the hotel calls in from this side. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day.
As for currency exchange, there are a lot of them at the hotel and on the embankment, they work seven days a week. In Tucepi the exchange rate was 7.41 and in other cities 7.48. Given that we bought the euro in Kyiv at 10.16, it turns out that 1 kuna is 1.35 UAH.
We liked the food in the restaurant. Breakfasts, as in any European hotel, are scrambled eggs, omelets, pastries, cereals, milk porridges, sausages, bacon, fried vegetables, salads, croutons, cookies, fruits, etc. Dinner is a real overeating. Whatever side dishes you want, different meats, salads, confectionery, ice cream, fruits (watermelons, melons, pineapples, nectarines, apples, pears). In short, lick your fingers. Drinks for dinner are paid, however, as in all European hotels. Considering that on the day of arrival we did not have time for dinner, on the day of departure we asked to attend dinner, although this was not provided, they went to meet us.
The contingent of vacationers is about 20% Ukrainians and Russians, 60% Germans and British (mostly pensioners) and the remaining 20% are Slovaks, Poles, Scandinavians, etc.
What surprised me was the lack of a classic car rental like in other countries. We got used to the fact that in the resort towns near the rental companies there are standing cars and you can immediately choose a car and leave on it. Everything is different here.
By car, we went to Trogir, I advise you to visit it, a beautiful town. We went to Split, which we did not like at all. It looks like a solid bazaar among the ruins, nothing interesting. And we went to Dubrovnik, it is certainly good, but it was very hot (38 degrees). In the city, I advise you to take the cable car to the top of the mountain, there is a gorgeous view of the whole city (the pictures will be awesome). The cost of lifting and descending is 87 kunas, for a child over 4 years old 40 kunas.
If you eat without children, then the Plitvice Lakes are a must to visit, it's just a very long drive to them and it is advisable to do this by bus.
Outcome. In principle, the hotel is good and I would recommend it to others.

Traveled with my wife and 8 year old son. Excellent location of the hotel - 1 line, right across the promenade - a small-pebble beach with pine trees on the shore. The sea is very clean. Booked a Park View room. Settled in the side wing, so you can see the sea from the balcony. The staff speaks Russian, friendly and helpful.
Meals - breakfast/dinner. Sufficiently satisfying, there that at lunch they managed fruits and yogurts. Everything can be bought nearby. Sometimes local grapes, figs are brought to the promenade - prices are lower than at home : )
Impressions are only positive! Feel free to choose this hotel (by the way, the newest and most modern of the three Bluesun hotels in Tuč epi)

Normal European hotel. No frills, but everything is comfortable, clean, the staff is very friendly. Good food is quite tasty and varied, although drinks are paid - quite expensive. Quite convenient for families with children: a children's pool, high chairs in the restaurant, you can pick up food for the child from the buffet menu (yogurts and cereals were present), mini disco every evening, a small playground next to the hotel. … More ▾ Normal European hotel. Internet is free. You need to take a place near the pools early in the morning, but why lie by the pool all day if I don’t understand the Adriatic Sea 10 meters away. The beach in front of the hotel is very narrow, it is better to walk 50 meters along the beach towards the Neptun hotel, the beach is much better there: wider, more trees and smaller pebbles.

The beach is right in front of the hotel, in this regard the location is excellent. The beach is pebbly, slippers are not needed for swimming. But if you walk 15 minutes to the right of the hotel along the coast and past an abandoned hotel and a T-shaped pier, you can get to a very pretty beach, which smoothly turns into a nudist one. It's great to snorkel there, but the pebbles are bigger.
According to the location of the village: both to Split and to Dubrovnik - 1.5-2 hours drive. The roads are of good quality, but consist of "mother-in-law's tongues" and deaf turns. So, if you rent a car, be prepared for a calm and attentive ride. In principle, there are no problems with public transport. In the neighboring village, Makarska, you can safely go by bus - 10 minutes.
It is better to go to the famous Plitvice Lakes by car and for a couple of days. There is a village nearby, where you can rent a room-apartment for 20 euros, and calmly walk around the lakes yourself, no one needs a guide, and a one-day excursion takes about 12 hours round trip. The same applies to Dubrovnik. Note that the road to Dubrovnik passes through Bosnia, so don't forget your passport.
In general, the hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday. I can’t say anything about animation, because. in September it was almost non-existent. In the evening, however, live music is played near the open bar. And one more thing: the Internet is paid and quite expensive.

We were in June 2010 . . probably for Croatia it was the beginning of the season, because the plane was only 2/3 full and did not say that there were a lot of people in the hotel.
1) the road....the airport in split, in principle, it’s not far from the clouds - we got there in 40 minutes, but it took everyone more than 1.5 hours to deliver
2) room . . check-in at 14, and we arrived at 11 - settled without problems . . the room corresponds to the photo: clean, tidy, linen was changed without any tips, the room was cleaned... the problem with safes really exists - not the first time the card works, but in principle everything is tolerable
3) water . . locals drink water from the tap - I did not dare. for comparison: the price of cola in the room is 13 kuni, in a bar - 13 kuni, in a store at a distance of 50m - 7-8 kuni, if you are not too lazy and reach the supermarket - 4-5 kuni; nuts in the room - 12 kuni, in the supermarket - 2-3 kuni
4) the hotel... the hotel is wonderful, the staff is friendly . . I just didn’t understand - why so many tables? so many people don’t rest with them... there is sea water in the pool, it’s really better to take places in advance (although it’s more likely not places, but umbrellas, sunbeds are always free)
5) animation . . from animation gymnastics in the morning, yoga in the afternoon, aqua aerobics in the afternoon, live music and lotto in the evenings . . children's animation is located in a neighboring neptune (they took and brought the child to a nearby hotel)
6) food. . . the food is wonderful: tasty, healthy, nutritious. . . but the water is paid, though if you haven't finished it, you can leave the bottle on the table and it will be waiting for you at the next meal. .
this is about the hotel, but about the country you need to read other sites. the country is really beautiful. do not spare money - take excursions.
our tour operator in croatia was panoramic. . huge respect to Lenegid. . .
visited Sibenik, Krka park, Makarska city, Biokovo park - I envy myself that I visited these places...
next year again there - I didn’t have time to go to Dubrovnik and the islands....I can also experiment with the hotel, but the city is definitely Tucepi
I advise you to take with you - rugs, beach towels and beach slippers (although, in principle, everything can be bought there)

I rested there for ten days in mid-June 2009. Of the shortcomings - the room is, as it were, two-level, in the middle there is a rather steep step. The meaning of such an architectural solution remained unclear, but there was a risk of falling asleep, so I recommend extreme caution. In a room with a non-working air conditioner, a strange unpleasant musty smell immediately arises, in order to get rid of it, you must constantly keep the air conditioner on, and for this you need to order an additional plastic key at the reception. … More ▾ I rested there for ten days in mid-June 2009. In a room with a non-working air conditioner, a strange unpleasant musty smell immediately arises, in order to get rid of it, you must constantly keep the air conditioner on, and for this you need to order an additional plastic key at the reception. The beach is narrow, and because of the abundantly growing pine trees on it, it is even smaller, sometimes you can’t turn around, the entrance to the sea, like everywhere else in Croatia, is unattended, and, most surprisingly, which has never been in Croatia before, the sea is frankly muddy and dirty , with all sorts of rubbish floating. All the pluses (which were also, for example, a wonderful restaurant with an efficient head waiter) do not outweigh these shortcomings, so I can’t recommend either the hotel or Tucepi as a whole - there are plenty of nicer places to visit both in Croatia and abroad

All I knew about the hotel was the name and the fact that everything you need is in the room (it’s hard to go on vacation without air conditioning in the summer). The hotel itself with the rooms is a bit convoluted, but we managed to find our own. Room - no sea / pool access, just on the side of the street. Honestly, it did not play any role, because we were there only at lunchtime and at night. It is better to admire the view right on the coast. The room is clean and very comfortable. Cleaned every day, changed towels (the main thing is to throw them on the floor so that it would be clear to the cleaning lady that it's time to bring new ones), soap and shampoo were added as expected. There is no point in leaving a tip. The sea is very close. You leave the hotel and you are already there. It is best to come early in the morning (when there are practically no people) and take a place convenient for you. And then just leave it for rush hour so that no one would take it - and come back again. I did not spend time on sunbeds near the pool, as the sea is incredible. The beach also has shade from the trees.
Food. The food is very good, varied. Dinner is generally chic, especially for those who eat healthy food. There is a choice for everyone. In July, there were already watermelons and melons in full on the tables. Lots of seafood. The staff is very friendly.
The town has a lot of fast food, just restaurants. Portions are huge. So if you order for two, it is better to limit yourself to one serving.
We also went on an excursion to Dubrovnik. It was hard because of the heat, and the city is very interesting.
I advise everyone to visit Croatia - nature and the sea are simply magical!

In general, my impression of the hotel was extremely positive, you can go there without fear, if you are not very upset by more relaxed entertainment, i. e. drink and listen to music, then you will rate the rest at 5 points.
