Polus - I first encountered the amazing conditions of this hotel back in October 2004, but then, thanks to common efforts and an unforgettable scandal, I managed to avoid staying in it.
the story is old - but the meaning boils down to the fact that tourists traveling alone tried to settle in 2-bed rooms with a double bed (there were just 2 different blankets, but the bed was shared). By the way, European tours often suffer from such a problem (I don’t know how anyone, but sleeping with an unfamiliar aunt in the same bed is at least unpleasant for me, especially since the history of her illnesses in the past and in the present is clearly unknown to me). We then quarreled, motivated by the fact that they put strangers in one room, and, lo and behold, we were lucky - they moved to another hotel - everything was ok there.
But you can't run away from fate - and in November 2008 I'm back in Polus. This time - 1-bed room, cramped, but it does not matter. But the broken plumbing in the bathroom upset me (they said that Russian tourists (they can be both Russians and Ukrainians . . ) are to blame. And breakfast - sausage with a smell and in a sticky film (the first sign of staleness) for the sins of Russian-speaking tourists hard to write. .

Polus is still that rooming hole. They take advantage of the fact that, as a rule, no one lives there for more than 3 nights, otherwise the tourists would not have survived!
