If there is anywhere heaven on earth, then it is in Kerala! I fell in love with Kerala as soon as I got off the train. The place is just amazing.

The first destination was the city of Cochin. Very clean, and looks like a European, which is not surprising, because Kerala has long been an English colony. And with all this, it was - this is the most real India. Here, almost all women wear saris, men wear lungi. Be sure to visit the Jewish quarter, very beautiful, small, narrow streets with shops selling various beautiful things and pleasant things. You can go into them like a museum, there is something to see. Of the sights - the ancient synanoga. There is a perfume shop not far from the Jewish quarter. It is, of course, a paradise for women. The perfumes are in their natural colors, the smells are fantastic.

Then we went to the mountains, to the city of Munnar. There is no such beauty anywhere. From the endless mountain tea plantations, a slight smell of tea is carried by the wind. Our hotel was just amazing. On the territory there are houses with two-story rooms. The food there is very tasty. The territory is large, a lot of greenery. In Kerala, the Ayurveda industry is very developed, here it is inexpensive.

Then we went along the mountain serpentine to the city of Thekhaddi, where we watched the performance of the famous Khatakalli theater. And in the early morning we were taken to the reserve, the territory of which occupies several hectares. We traveled around the reserve on a boat and saw different animals that went to the shore of the lake.

We have seen so many things that it is simply impossible to describe everything in a small review, and in general it is better to see once... this trip is simply unforgettable.

I highly recommend a stay in Kerala to everyone. If you want to put your body, mind and soul in order, then you are here. Here the air is filled with peace.

And I would also like to mention one hotel where we visited. At the reception you will immediately be offered to try one of the local herbal teas, amazingly delicious. The hotel consists of houses, where at the entrance there is a private mini-pool. Houses, furniture - all made of wood. Rabbits, cows live in the hotel itself, and you will have the opportunity to drink natural fresh milk, again, Ayurveda is everywhere. In this place there is no polyethylene, no TVs and nothing at all that would go against the concept of "eco-tourism".
