What is the weather like in April in Goa?
Good day everyone! I ask for advice from the "experienced": is it worth flying to GOA in mid-April? They write that at this time the incredible heat is already beginning. If it is still worth flying, the second question is: where is it better - in South or North Goa? Interested, first of all, in the beaches - which ones can you recommend? And, of course, hotels. Thanks!

Worth flying. Last year it was just in mid-April - a normal summer, on the coast there was a breeze - the heat was not felt much. The only thing was that the guide did not advise Hampi - it's really hot there. I was in Calangute, Charleston. I won’t tell you about the South.

Well, I don’t know, about summer, friends fly for what year in a row at this time for sales there (gold, diamonds, etc.), at this time it rains and the holiday season naturally ends (at least the last 3 years)

Do not spoil the rest, do not take risks, unless of course you are just not shopaholics :)

April-och will be hot, we were here in February, +35. In South Goa there is an excellent beach - Palolem beach, probably the best Goa.
In general, it’s better to go to Kerala, there are beaches, and tea plantations, and see more.

Everyone treats the temperature in the street in their own way, for someone at 35 it’s hot and stuffy, but for someone - well, it’s finally warmer. Of course, April is already considered off-season. There are fewer people, but this does not mean that everything around is a complete horror. If you normally tolerate heat and stuffiness, then there is no problem. There are enough shadows everywhere, there are air conditioners, I don’t see any problems. But the choice of the beach is a separate issue. It all depends on what type of holiday you prefer. If the beach is clean and you are not interested in entertainment, then the further south the calmer, cleaner and whiter the sand, more greenery and more expensive)

Thanks for the advice! The scales leaned towards South Goa, but ... not before November. Shopping can be done in the Emirates. not a problem (if this is the goal to pursue). But I would like to relax on exotic beaches in a comfortable time of the year. And so my sister and I are already making out a trip for the May holidays to Crete (Greece). Although Goa for me remains the main point in terms of travel.

It’s strange, but what to do in Crete in May?
аватар Liiz
no, not to sunbathe, rather - to travel. We will take a car, drive, visit interesting places. Plus Easter in Crete. Similar in importance to the carnival in Rio. :) Actually, this was decisive. Well, in Goa - in late autumn. Thanks again!
