Recommend a hotel in North Goa
Hello, I really need your help. We really want to relax in India, we are considering North GOA. We will be very grateful if you tell me which hotels are better to stay in (we are thinking of taking 3 * and above, but we also read that there are good 2 * hotels), so that there are supermarkets with groceries, markets and inexpensive cafes where you can have delicious food and eat on a budget, you may have stayed in hotels that have their own kitchen so that you can always cook seafood bought at the market. Of course, I would also like the hotel to be close to the sea. Tell me the hotels or villages in which you rested and there was everything written above) Many thanks in advance to everyone

In North Goa, I like the beach in the town of Candolim, there are fewer locals there. From hotels 2 stars - EVERYTHING is like a rooming house, just throw things and spend the night on linen washed to holes. 3 stars are also a little different, if you like comfort, you need to take 3+ -4 stars, if not, then you can use 2 of those available closer to the sea. You don’t have to worry about cafes - there they are at every step on the beach and on the streets. There is no need to prepare. If you book on your own, you can rent a house (they call this a villa) there is a lot of choice! Look at the Goa forums, people offer a lot for rent.

Recently returned from Goa, rested from December 13 to January 2. Were in Morjim, a beautiful huge beach, little local, many Russian speakers. Regarding 2 stars, I completely disagree, maybe somewhere it is, as in the previous post. We lived in Morjim Gest House 1 star ... everything is clean, bed without stains, cleaning every day. Within walking distance are fruit shops, markets, a wine market and excellent inexpensive cafes, restaurants, currency exchange. To the sea 10 minutes walk. You can rent a scooter at the guest house. The staff is great, they will help and advise. Very friendly atmosphere. From the beaches of North Goa, I would recommend Morjim, Ashvem, Mandrem .. More calm and civilized. Morjim is the largest beach listed. If you go further to the right, beach vendors will not get it, they do not reach there. On the rest of the beaches, especially in Arambol, this is a nightmare, not a minute of peace from them. I didn’t like Arambol at all .. Yes, there is a sunset, partying, movement .. but crowded, dirty,
