The rooms are tidy, the furniture is new, no frills. The room has 3 sockets, soap, shampoo, towels, etc. Issued with every morning cleaning. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, the owner takes a minibus to the ski lift (2 minutes) so as not to climb uphill in ski boots. Lunch was not ordered at the hotel, only breakfast. The breakfasts are of good quality, like all products in Europe. Muesli, tea-coffee, jams, honey, pastries, cuts, juices, yoghurts, etc. The staff is very polite, they manage to clean the rooms before you return from breakfast. Downstairs there is a bar where you can have a snack at lunch or in the evening or have a drink. Please note that in Italy lunch is exclusively from 12 to 14:00, dinner from 19 to 20:00. Come later to any institution - you will be left without food, even the supermarket closes at the same time. True, bars (booze) are open around the clock. The only, in my opinion, minus the hotel - they save a lot on heating (gas and electricity are expensive in the country), they turn off the heating at about 12:00, turn it on at about 6:30 in the morning. Shoes in the ski room sometimes do not have time to dry - my advice: drag the insoles and the inner shoe to the room and dry it there on the radiator and put the newspaper inside. All in all, the hotel is perfect for saving money if you are not luxury oriented.

The hotel is small, located at the very entrance to Cervinia, but always full! The cozy rooms are decorated with wood, pine furniture, clean bathrooms and showers (apparently it was recently renovated), everything is new. There are all kinds of shampoos, soaps, gels, soaps, hats.
Double rooms, usually with two windows overlooking the forest behind the building and the street, who are lucky with a view of Cervino (Matterhorn). I didn’t even hear the birds chirping from morning to evening.
The hotel offers only breakfasts, unfortunately they cannot offer HB yet, but on the other side of the restaurants the sea is within walking distance. The breakfast is classic-continental, muesli, cereals, two types of cold cuts, cheese, fresh bread and rolls, delicious croissants, muffins, honey, jams to choose from, yoghurts in stock and even puddings. They offer a choice of coffee with and without milk, they will make cappuccino, chocolate (cocoa). Everything is delicious and fresh!
The rooms were cleaned quickly and efficiently, two girls. Sometimes they had time to have breakfast and return to the room.
Internet for free. WI-FI on the 1st floor, in the living room, on the 2nd floor in the rooms definitely takes.
The hotel stands 300 meters from the ski lifts. Therefore, it will be a little strenuous to climb up the hill in uniform.
We were taken to the local ski lifts every morning by a very nice and friendly Alberto. Not on schedule, but at the slightest request. Even when their minibus broke down, they ran away and took their personal car.
Well, in the evening on foot down the hill in 10 minutes.
The owner of the hotel, Danielo, always worries about his guests himself, he offers breakfast to take with him in case of an early departure from the hotel. The slightest wishes are resolved in favor of the guest. I wanted to change it, with beautiful views from the windows.
To the bus-transfer to the airport at 6 am, Danielo helped each of our tourists to get on a private car, load, unload things. transfer buses can only stop at the central parking lot near the church. And this is 200 meters uphill with heavy bags.
The vacation was a success, the most positive impression remained! It was as if I had visited and lived for two weeks in a friendly Italian family!

Oh yes, how we chose a vacation spot in conditions of limited resources. With the resort it was easier, they chose regardless of the price tag, focusing solely on technical characteristics. Well, 400 km. trails in the highest mountain resort in Italy with the possibility of skiing in Switzerland! ? The choice is obvious for every real skier. And we are real. Or do we really want it. . . ? Of course, you can find a cheaper resort, in anticipation of better days. The resort did not save. The hotel was more difficult. Even if there is time, there is always little money, but we still did not consider apartments for living, as it is unusual and completely student-like. Ah, where are my 17 years, or 27 in a pinch. Yes, and such housing becomes profitable for a company of 4 people. Stars regretted money for ***, there was simply no money for ****. So we decided to take a risk. Twenty steps up - here is the entrance, dimly lit by a Christmas garland. A wooden door creaks, (in Italy there are no metal-plastic doors and windows, if these are not office and industrial buildings. The town of Cervinia is extremely small in size. It will take no more than 20 minutes to walk slowly from end to end along the main and almost the only street. It will not be possible to entertain yourself after skiing. There are no discos (and thank God)! Spin is weak. There is no skating rink pool either. But it is quiet and calm. The audience is very decent and blush, shunning compatriots, never had to. Although there are a lot of Russians. There are several shops, a supermarket, souvenir shops, sports. Shop, rental, bank…. Not much, but everything you need is there. The town is located away from noisy highways, the center (500 meters) is completely pedestrian. Vegetation is practically non-existent, except for the occasional larch. The smell of coffee from the eateries surrounding the station is in the air, where you can just have a bite to eat - 25-35 euros for two. If you take the slopes of Mussu Achitar, which is in Dombay, and multiply by 10, it will be something like this. And this is only the Italian side - 200 km. marked trails. But not marked? On the way to the resort, we were convincingly and repeatedly asked to ski only on the slopes, warning about the "evil ski patrol" taking away ski passes without talking about off-piste skiing. But what kind of Russian does not like... During the week of skiing, the patrol was seen once, the guys peacefully lounging in deck chairs sipped something from cups, and it was unlikely that it was tea. There is a lot of snow, but it fell a long time ago and the skating was quite hard. During the day, the air temperature is higher - 5оt below, in the village it did not rise, on the slopes the higher - the colder, on some days at an altitude of more than 3000 meters t dropped to -19о. But we were ready. The clothes are warm, the stocks of Novokubansky are sufficient....A lot of cafes, fast food cafes right on the slopes, where you can not only quickly and by the way not expensively have a bite, leaving no chance for frost. Of course, having such a resource as money in sufficiency, it’s more pleasant to ride in shorts in March, it’s more expensive, by 20-30% and there are queues, but it’s worth it! There is a possibility - it is better to go in March, but this recommendation applies only to high-altitude resorts with a lot of snow falling during the winter. Otherwise, there is every chance to come across "kneading" from lunch and ice in the morning. Summary. We were very satisfied with the trip. For relatively little money, 115.000 rubles. , for two, in 8 days, in total, we got a lot of new impressions, had an amazing ride, ski slopes and mountain views are beyond praise! From the observation deck, at the top of the Small Materhor, a fantastic view of the mountains opens up - I definitely advise you to visit! We visited and rode on the Swiss side, breathed in the cleanest air, car traffic is prohibited in Zermatt. We climbed on the mountain railway going from the center of Zermat directly to the slopes - impressive, we went to Milan (without shopping). What else?
