From my own experience, I can advise you not to cram more than two Italian cities into 10 days. I was in Milan and Rome, in each it took at least four days to see the most pop sights, but sometimes you also want to look at the non-pop ones.

The route for each city was compiled in advance according to maps and reviews from the Internet, everything was thought out along the route and in time, we walked smartly, used transport, we managed to see everything that we planned to see with entering the cathedrals, climbing the dome, visiting palaces, etc. We took the tour from the operator, we traveled around the cities ourselves. We didn't spend more than 2000 for sure, this is not counting purchases (how to do without shopping in Italy :) !!!

Compared to "wild" Russia, half of Italy does not know what plastic cards are, so if you plan to accidentally drop into a provincial town, take cash. 2. Dirt, garbage and homeless people. In the center of Rome there is such dirt, which in Russia can only be found around overflowing garbage cans within a radius of half a meter. Near the coliseum lie, stand, go dirty smelly homeless people, and begging for money from TOURISTS!!!! 3. Airports treat tourists with absolutely boorish attitude! Passed through passport control in Naples, then it turns out that the plane was delayed for some time. There is not even a sandwich stand in the landing waiting area. We explain to the local employees that our flight was delayed for several hours, we need to eat, drink, let us out, the controllers categorically refused to let us go back, everyone who was contacted answered like this is not my problem, fuck off. We spent 6 hours in that shed until the shift of customs officers changed and we were released into the common room!!!

In general, the feeling is as if these Italians shit on their heads !!! I will never take them a penny again! As for summer holidays, sea and not so much, it is better to choose a more civilized country. As it was in Catalonia - heaven and earth compared to Italy !!! The sea is clean, the beaches are clean, the attitude is friendly, plastic is accepted even in a tent on the coast!!!
