While the memories are fresh, I want to share about a trip to Sicily in the town of Letojanni Antares Olimpo 4 * hotel. I will try to paint everything on the points: 1. Check-in: The check-in time at this hotel is 1.00, but we arrived at about half past one in the afternoon and after 20 minutes we were settled in the room, without any additional payments and unnecessary questions. 2. Accommodation: Initially, when buying a tour, we did not pay extra "sea view", but upon arrival, a polite Italian at the reception gave us the keys to our room, we got up and were stunned by the provided resting place for the next few days. The room turned out to have 2 windows overlooking the mountains and one loggia - with amazing views of the sea. Plus, as it turned out in the evening - live music played every day on the terrace on the floor below - quiet, pleasant jazz or Italian, well-known melodies. Since we arrived at lunchtime and did not get breakfast (we paid for breakfast and dinner), a plate of fruit, a bottle of water and champagne were waiting for us in the room on the day of arrival. It was very nice to see that you were taken care of right away. The room itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. . There is everything you need - a refrigerator, a kettle with a tea set (sugar, coffee, tea, mugs and spoons), so you could use it if you wanted. And of course, everything is also there from the furniture - a bed, tables (both in the room and on the balcony) with chairs, a large mirror wardrobe, air conditioning, bedside tables. In the bathroom, everything is also clean and tidy: bath, sink, bidet, toilet. 3. Service: The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed at will - if you want it every day - if you like it or not. If you need to change - just put them on the floor. 4. Food: Simply wonderful! Everything was incredibly tasty, and thank God that we did not take lunch - otherwise we would have been torn to pieces)))) Breakfast: a lot of types of croissants, buns, bread, several types of sausage, cheese, eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables , jams, freshly brewed fruit marmalade, muesli, yoghurts, milk, several types of coffee machines, cocoa, tea, a machine for fresh juice - from oranges (very tasty! ), fruits, water, plus champagne was offered every day for breakfast. In general, no one left hungry. Dinner: drinks are not included in dinner. But you are offered here and local wine and beer and water for a fee, respectively, everything is written to the account of the room and you pay for it before leaving. I incredibly liked the rose wine - just a fairy tale. From food: every day they cooked something new, there were always 3 types of pasta, each time different, a couple of types of risotto, different fish, meat, vegetables and fresh and fried and baked, cheeses, sausages. Delicious desserts: biscuit cakes, pastries, canolli tubes, constantly about 10 types of ice cream, a lot of fruits: bananas, apples, pears, watermelons, melons, kiwi, grapes, lemons, peaches, pineapples. Everything is always fresh and authentic! very tasty! Once there was a musical dinner - Sicilian musicians came with an accordion, a tambourine and sang their national songs to us, it was great, they sang and played so incendiary and soulfully - just lovely! The waiters are also very nice and friendly - they quickly respond to orders , for cleaning dishes, always friendly. If there is a child at the table, they will definitely come and entertain him. We always left a tip for a euro or two, for their work and attentiveness I wanted to thank them somehow. five. Territory: The hotel has a lot of greenery, trees and flowers, a lot of tables and places where you can sit and chat with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. There is a swimming pool - big and deep - 2.5 max. depth, every day his animation entertains vacationers. 6. Location relative to the sea: Antares Olympo is the highest located hotel of the 3 hotels included in the complex, so you first need to go down to the sea in an open glass elevator, and then in an elevator located in the rock and walk along Letojanni to the beach 300 meters. This journey does not bother at all, but on the contrary, it allows you to enjoy the views and beauties of nature around the hotel. The hotel has its own beach - sun loungers and umbrellas are provided to you free of charge. You pass through a cafe located on the shore - you are registered on the card of your number and the guy who looks after the beach takes you to the place of "your lying" The beach itself is very clean, it is cleaned every day, the sea is clear, transparent. A shore of small pebbles, at a depth of even 5 meters you can clearly see the bottom and fish. Language: I advise you to get an Italian phrase book, because apart from the hotel there are few places in Sicily where someone speaks English. But they look with tenderness when you half-gestures and half-words in Italian try to explain what you need. And in general - I can say - that the Sicilians are very friendly and pleasant people. Be sure to travel around the island - we did it ourselves - without excursions, armed with a guidebook. The hotel is conveniently located relative to the train station. d station and bus stop - and the schedule can be taken at the reception. In conclusion, I want to ask all the tourists who are going to Sicily: please, remain well-mannered and civilized people on vacation. You don’t need to throw yourself at food with five plates, you don’t need to be greedy for tips, you don’t need to humiliate the attendants and the surrounding residents, but I saw all this with my own eyes in several situations, and I was very ashamed of these people.
