Now for the bad. . . departure from the hotel was at 14.20 (transfer). Kicked out of the room at 10.00 (with a 5 year old child) Then a bus ride to Catania airport. We were there at about 16.20, checked in for the flight, while there was time we went to note the "tax free" (the return of the tax on purchases, the amount is not large, we had about 40 euros, but still. . ) Airport workers are something then. . In short, the mark (stamp) and the receipt of this money took two hours, and even then they ran out of money, then there was no one to give it out. . . In short, after getting drunk, and then only on principle, they got 30 British pounds sterling in their hands. I even quarreled with my wife in the process, I really wanted to spit on this whole procedure. . . Then it turned out that our flight was delayed by 3 hours. Okay, we are normal people. . Let's go to the "duty free" There is nothing to buy, three shops and two cafes. Well, okay, we fed the child with cakes, drank coffee, we are waiting. . . And then there was complete chaos. On the departure board, our flight 21.20 froze (by the way, the information has not changed) the airport workers gradually simply disappeared, at 11.00 all shops and cafes simply closed, passengers with children were left even without water. . . In short, we flew away at about 3 in the morning, slept with the children on the floor, I personally did not expect such a situation in Europe. All the positive emotions from vacation and recreation simply evaporated, at home the whole family slept for almost a day and moved away from such a vacation. . . We will not go to Sicily again (and to Italy, most likely) either....
