Yes, it used to be a great hotel. But over the 15 years of its existence, it has become very tired, and repairs in it during this period, it seems, have never been carried out. The bathrooms are especially in need of renovation - the first room had to be changed due to peeling enamel on the bathtub and a broken shower head. I was really thinking about moving to another hotel, but the guest relay employee persuaded me to stay.
The territory and design of the hotel are excellent: several bars and lounge areas that are conducive to relaxation, a swimming pool with a pool bar, a snow-white beach with a sufficient number of sunbeds and clean towels. On the beach, local "peddlers" are forbidden to approach tourists. They can look at you plaintively from 10 meters, showing their coconuts, bracelets or camels, but they can’t scream or come up themselves, only you can approach them.
The ocean beach traditionally experiences high and low tides twice a day, it is advisable to look at the schedule in advance and spend part of the day by the pool, part by the sea. At low tide, you can walk along the reef, accompanied by local helpers, so as not to step on a hedgehog or some other poisonous living creature. Spoiled the impression of the fact that the staff removes algae from the beach very badly, on the third day they really smelled in the sun.
Monkeys run around the territory: ordinary monkeys and more beautiful colobuses. Therefore, the balcony door should always be closed in order to avoid theft and debauchery from these villains. There is always an armed guard at breakfast on the outdoor terrace. He is armed with an ordinary slingshot, but the monkeys are afraid and almost do not climb, only occasionally they manage to steal something from the table. In the evenings, crabs run along the paths in the dark.
The food, in principle, is not bad, but the level of cleanliness of dishes and all sorts of antique fences is depressing. It seems to me that in these thickets of dust and grease, you can catch much more infection than from each other. The breakfasts at the hotel are quite good, I have never tried lunches, sometimes I dined in a restaurant by the pool, well, the food is so-so, they don’t know how to cook, they even managed to spoil the shrimp. But the choice of beer and wine is decent. There are several restaurants within walking distance, they are also not ice, but for a change I recommend going.
Spa did not try, no comments. The water in the hotel from the tap is brackish, it had a very strong effect on the hair in 4 days, they became like tow. But according to reviews, this is such a problem on the entire coast. Otherwise, the equipment of the rooms is normal, but it is better to look at other hotels if you want an impeccable holiday.
