We arrived at the hotel at 10:00 am, met normally, placed on arrival in a room with a large double bed, without waiting for 14:00 and immediately fed breakfast. We were in the period from October 4 to 14, which is considered the off-season and rainy month, but in fact it was 30-35 during the day, 25-30 at night, it was cloudy only 1 day out of 9, the rest of the days it was sunny, the rains were short-term for 5-15 minutes passed quickly and everything dried up in the sun. To protect from the sun, 30spf was saved, still burned a little.
About the pros:
1. lack of a railway;
2. not quite far from the airport, so the transfer took us about 2.5 hours; 3. reef covering the shore from the waves and the ability to swim in the ocean in any weather, around the hotel you can swim everywhere, as it is shallow about chest;

4. relatively clean coastline; 5. beach fights and sellers on the beach are very cultured everywhere, if you don’t want to be pestered, say what you have already bought elsewhere, and they pester simply because they are interested in new people;
6. For excursions, I advise you to contact the hotel guide, we had Elena, unlike other guides, she doesn’t impose anything, the prices are the same as those of beach fights, but the quality is incomparably better, we took a trip to Nuwara Eliya to a tea factory and plantations, as a bonus, the guide made stops for FREE in the toilet, to see monkeys or a beautiful view, a spice garden, an elephant nursery, or at the request of tourists to go to the store, absolutely disinterestedly, conducted an excellent program in pure Russian (studied in the USSR) and all this for $ 70 per person for almost 20 hours of exciting travel in a comfortable minibus;
7. Service at the hotel for 5, the staff is smiling and always happy to help, not begging for money, they like to communicate in Russian while practicing their knowledge;
8. the food is delicious due to spices, moderately spicy and a large selection, made from high quality products, freshly squeezed juices for breakfast, more often fish from seafood, less often shrimp, squid, crabs;
9. large (for Sri Lanka) hotel area with chipmunks, monitor lizards, gigons, flying dogs, crows, crabs and other exotic animals; 10. all rooms with ocean view
11. the design of the room and the hotel is in harmony with the surrounding nature;
12. a shop nearby with fixed inexpensive prices, there is everything except alcohol, fruits and seafood;
13. location, where to eat;
14. program every evening, live sound, exhibitions of paintings by a local artist, etc.
15. hair dryer and fumigator in the bedside tables, there are European sockets in the bathroom;
16. there are all bathroom accessories - shampoo, shower gel, body cream, shower cap;
17. You can swim in the pool until 22:00, the water is heated after 18:00.
18. luxurious sunsets, the best show from mother nature, and the location of the hotel allows you to see the sunset panorama;
19. bathroom on the balcony, unfortunately did not have a chance to lie down;

20. safety, we left an expensive phone and a tablet on the hotel grounds on the sunbeds and calmly went outside the hotel to swim in the ocean for 30 minutes or more.
Of the minuses: 1. very high prices in the hotel for services, bar and food, and beach-boys have EVERYTHING, dinner at the hotel for one person in the buffet 2550 rupees + 10 (13)% tax;
2. the water in the ocean is muddy due to the river flowing into the ocean several kilometers away;
3. shallow pool 1.2 meters deep;
4. the furniture in the room is old and filthy, or due to high humidity it quickly deteriorates, they did not understand;
5. there was no bathrobe and slippers, they brought it at the request;
6. I advise you to be more careful with the minibar before checking in and write it down with the hotel employee, and at each cleaning follow and recalculate with the employee, we were asked to pay for the minibar at the check-out, which we did not use, the incident was resolved in our favor, because . initially, upon check-in, I rewrote all the positions in stock and handed over this piece of paper upon departure;
7. daily cleaning of the room from early morning to late evening at any time you can be disturbed by a hotel employee, so if you want silence, then hang a sign do not disturb;
8. many Chinese - they talk loudly, spit and blow their nose into the pool, vomit on the territory, grab from under their noses in a restaurant, etc . ;
9. there are no asphalt paths on the territory, only sand and lawn, I advise you not to take heels at all, there is nowhere to put them on;

10. be careful with beach-boys, the promised excursion for $ 80 where we were told that we would see elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, a spice garden, etc. actually turned out to be a tuk-tuk trip for three + driver to the yard to one of the locals residents where 3 bushes grow - in their opinion, this is a spice garden, somewhere high on palm trees in the distance there are monkeys, an elephant at a local temple, and we ourselves refused to see the tea plantation, since it was clear that this 2-3 bush grows from someone something in the yard. And all this in barely understandable broken Russian. Do not spoil your impressions of Sri Lanka by saving $5-10, the difference is not big, but the quality of the tour with the guide is 99% higher.
PS. I wrote a review on the plane, while all the memories. This is my purely personal impression of the hotel and the rest in Sri Lanka for this period, condition and mood! I did not want to offend, offend or offend anyone with my text. Peace for everyone
