I forgot to add: I advise you to take only breakfasts, and have lunch and dinner in restaurants in the city (after a hearty lunch there, we usually simply didn’t have enough even for dinner at the hotel)). $5 for a tuk-tuk and they will pick you up and bring you back.

the hotel is wonderful, but there is a rumor that it is closed for renovation :(. it is quiet and calm here. minus the crows. plus palm squirrels (just funny)
