The hotel was recommended by locals.
On the plus side is the location. Located in the city center, 5 min. walk to Medina, 10 min. to the port.
This is where the pluses end.
Minuses:
- the hotel is old. In the rooms, both for me and for colleagues with whom we were, broken plumbing, old carpets in stains. For example, hot water flowed in a thin stream, especially in the washbasin - a stream as thick as a match. The shower barely worked, the plug in the bathroom was broken so that the water would drain - you had to pick it up with your nails and pull it out. The paint is peeling off the bathtub. Water constantly gurgles in the toilet - the valve does not work and there is an overflow. A colleague has a piece of a washbasin broken off.
There is no kettle in the rooms, although the price is higher than anywhere, such as 5 *.

Breakfast - in Europe, such in a 3 * hotel of an average hand. 1 kind of yogurt, cold cuts, boiled eggs, fried sausages, juices are clearly not freshly squeezed, there are no vegetables, in general, the choice is small. Breakfast price - 24 Euro!! ! For example, in Paris, for 13 Euros, I had breakfasts much cooler.
After each breakfast, you must sign the check. Assessing the "quality" of the breakfast, I missed the last 2, but still then they were in the bill. What's the point of signing the check in this case?
A colleague from Germany, when checking out from the hotel, was faced with the fact that the bill included a meeting at the airport and a transfer to the hotel. However, he didn't order it and took a taxi himself. He began to prove to them, they insist that it was and that he should pay. Fortunately, he had a receipt from the taxi that was taking him, he presented it to them, they filmed it! at the photocopier, the manager came, struck it off the bill, but talked to him with angry faces and a tone as if he had stolen something.
Also, the bill automatically includes a "donation to UNICEF" - 10 dollars. It's good that we noticed this and asked to be removed.
In general, the attitude is like a "gringo" - "stupid whites will pay for everything, and at double the price. " I must say that this attitude is typical in Casablanca in general, as far as I have noticed, but for a 5 * hotel this is absolutely unacceptable.
I looked at the reviews on Booking - a score of 6.6 and the same complaints. The hotel clearly counts on 1-time tourists, and not on loyal customers who will come constantly.
