We chose for a long time which city to settle in, initially we considered Rafailovichi, but they didn’t confirm our reservation there, there were many offers in Budva, but we didn’t want to settle there because this city is too noisy and teeming with tourists, we had the main criteria - sea view, availability safe and parking at the hotel, since we rented a car, I also really liked the location of the hotel (almost near the E80 highway, and you don’t need to ride through narrow streets, where it is sometimes very difficult to drive in order to get to any hotel, for example, to the same Del Mar), a 5-minute drive from Budva (where large supermarkets are located), and the middle of the coastal zone of Montenegro (no problem to go to Bar, go north or go to Kotor).

We checked in quickly, even before the scheduled time (check-in is usually after 2 pm, and we arrived at 10 am, we were at the hotel at 11 am, in fact, we checked in right away, the only thing we didn’t immediately find where to look for the hotel reception, we went to all the rooms, but in the end everything went well. I really liked the fact that the hotel had all the necessary kitchen utensils, since we did not take breakfast and ate ourselves at the coastal restaurant Pod Murvom (near the entrance to the island of Sveti Stefan), and had dinner directly in the room, buying all the necessary products in Budva supermarkets and market in the city of Bar. The room is clean, I would say licked, everything is neat, the room had everything you can think of)) There is even a sun lounger on the balcony, but we didn’t use it and we liked to run up the stairs (without sarcasm) to the sea and sunbathe and swim directly on the beach. The main advantage of the room (we lived in room 8) is that you can see the parking lot in this sea through the toilet window))) And if it’s not a joke, then this is: beautiful views - the sea from edge to edge of the balcony, a lot of small amenities (the room is well ventilated (you can open several doors), despite the presence of air conditioning, we did not even use it, the lack of a room, well, perhaps the lighting of the kitchen area (that lighting was not enough for us), as we often returned from travels in Montenegro and Croatia late at night and cooked dinner. The room was cleaned, the towels were changed, the attitude of the staff was more than cordial, sincere and homely, I didn’t like the fact that you need to live in Montenegro, and come to paradise and then leave, tears just well up : ( I highly recommend this hotel, I want to send my parents here to relax!

At the entrance there lives a dog after which the hotel "Baron" was named; )
IMPORTANT! Information about the free parking of the Baron Aparthotel was stated, but when asked to use it, they demanded 4 USD from us!
We decided to rent a car and go see the country on our own, instead of standard excursions. I strongly advise you, the impressions are unforgettable and you plan the places and the route for yourself. One tour for 2 costs 60 USD. For a car and fuel for 450 km, we paid 65 USD.
IMPORTANT! If you rent a car, pay attention to the amount of fuel in the tank. The landlord fixes the position of the arrow in the contract and can draw the position as they want, and then you have to return the car with the amount of fuel, as they prescribed in the contract!
Prices are two times lower in towns that are farther from resort places. We did a great job at the supermarket in Niknic
If you bargain, you can ride over the canyon of the river. Tara, instead of 40 USD, for 25 USD for two)

We lived in a one-room apartment, where there was a built-in kitchen with all necessary utensils (stove, refrigerator, electric kettle, a set of dishes and cutlery). Just enough to fully eat on their own in the room, and not in restaurants. In front of the room there is a small terrace with a table and chairs where you can have breakfast and arrange romantic dinners. Near the hotel there are small shops, several restaurants, fruit and vegetable outlets. The path to the beach goes through a staircase of 297 steps. Despite the frightening number of steps, it is not difficult to climb this staircase. In time, it takes up to 10 minutes slowly. The beach is pebbly and spacious. There are umbrellas and sun loungers, but they are paid.
Near the hotel there is a bus stop that goes to Budva, where you can go for a walk around the old town or to a large supermarket for groceries.
The hotel has 2 small flaws. It is poor soundproofing in the rooms. It is especially bad if your neighbors are a family with a small child. The second disadvantage will affect you if you do not smoke. Neighbor smokers come out to smoke on balconies or terraces and the smell of tobacco smoke can reach the rooms.
You can rent a car from the owner of the hotel and arrange a trip throughout Montenegro, since the country is small and it’s really possible to drive around it in a couple of days.
Separately, I would like to note the place where the hotel is located. And it is located in the wonderful resort village of Sveti Stefan. From many points of the village offers a wonderful view of the famous island-hotel. And in general, this village offers beautiful views of the entire Budva Riviera, the mountains surrounding it, the bright blue sea.
Holidays in Montenegro, in the village of Sveti Stefan, at the Baron Hotel - this is perhaps the most excellent solution in terms of price-quality ratio if you are a tourist who is inexperienced with 5-star premium hotels.
I recommend the hotel to visit and it is worthy to return to it again!
