There is no reception either, so if you need something, then just look for the owner, who speaks only Serbian (few people can speak English at all). The main thing (! ) - there is no water from 10 am to 15.30 - they have such an economy mode, it is also with electricity - interruptions are a normal phenomenon (not only in the hotel, but throughout the city such a picture). We took the HB boarding house, it would be better not to take anything: breakfast: tea / coffee and only cheese and sausage with tomatoes - there is nothing else at all, dinner - (not a buffet) as lucky, only water is included in the price of the boarding house. Velika beach is not the cleanest place, anything can swim in the water. The sidewalks are very narrow and cars park on them, it is impossible to pass. There are no souvenirs, as well as local cuisine (one fast food grill), there is practically nothing to see in the city, all Russian-speaking excursions are only from Budva. Russian is really not enough, but not enough just because there is no service here simply. Other hotels have the same problems with electricity and water, they all look about the same.

It is clear that our rooms were much more modest - double apartments (toilet, shower, kitchen with refrigerator and stove, air conditioning). There was no TV, satellite TV, of course, too, WiFi worked only near the suites, i. e. outside under the balcony.
A separate story about the host. We were taken care of by the administrator (the son of the owner), who speaks pretty good Russian - this, unfortunately, is all his virtues (((. It was extremely difficult to get any accurate information from this young man. Organizing high-quality excursions is also not his element. By the way, excursions from Ulcinj cost 15-20 euros more than from Budva ((((
The nearest beach - Velika beach - is located at a distance of about 1 km from the villa. It is covered with fine ash (gray) sand. The beach is dirty and very shallow. Services on the beach cost 6 euros for 2 sun loungers.
Behind this beach is the beach of Ada Bojana with its exclusive naturist village. If you are a nudist, you are definitely here))) You can’t lie on the beach dressed, the guards come up and offer to either get naked or get off)))) In general, everything is for nudists!

In the center is the Old Town. According to legend, writer Miguel Cervantes was a prisoner of pirates in Ulcinj for five years. And one of the local girls inspired him to create the image of Dulcinea (from Ulcinj).
On the waterfront, along the Small Beach, there are a lot of restaurants.
Behind the Small Beach there are a couple more beaches - Ibiza (has nothing to do with ours), Women's (only women's))) beach and the beach of the Albatros hotel with a nudist area. These beaches are covered with large pebbles. The sea here is dark green.
The women's beach is surrounded by a pine forest. For more than a century, women have been coming to a small pebble bay, hidden by rocks, to be treated for infertility. A spring saturated with hydrogen sulfide flows into this small bay. Entrance is allowed in the summer until 19h only for women.
On Tuesdays and Fridays early in the morning at the local market you can buy the freshest fish from the fishermen. If we compare the market of Ulcinj and Budva, Ulcinj definitely wins - both in terms of the choice of goods, and in terms of quality and price. And the prices in Ulcinj for various souvenirs, trinkets are 1-2 euros cheaper than in Budva.
In general, Ulcinj is a city for several categories of tourists. For those who prefer a quiet relaxing holiday. For nudists. For those who want to improve their health at local healing springs.
