Stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon in May 2011. What can I say, a solid 5. The hotel is amazing, one of the best on the coast of Cancun. It is located in the heart of Cancun, close to many cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and discos. The hotel area is not large, as in principle in all hotels in Cancun, well-groomed. Very beautiful large swimming pool, which stretches along the building throughout the hotel. Clean beach with very fine white sand. Since the hotel is located on a short part of the 7ki, there are never storms and waves, the sea is always crystal clear and calm. Those hotels that are located on a large part of the 7ki, there are huge waves every day, all the beaches are in shells and in very coarse yellow sand, you don’t really swim in the sea, but you can have fun while swimming in such beautiful, curly waves. What we did when we got bored with our beach.
The hotel building itself is apparently after a major overhaul, because. hotels were built there after the revolution in Cuba. When the American resort was closed there, and they decided to build a new one, but already in Mexico, just in Cancun. And most of the hotels have not been updated since those times, which is very visible now. Despite the fact that most of the hotels there are 5 *, they have a video recorder that smells of antiquity. But due to recent storms, many hotels have been damaged and some have been refurbished.
The rooms are very spacious, studio type, all with balconies and sea views. The room has everything, absolutely everything, from banal slippers to bathrobes, to coffee machines and needles with threads of different colors. The service is all dressed up and licked, the rooms are cleaned every day, conscientiously and cleanly. If you leave a tip, then in the evening when you come to the room, the light is muffled, the bed is beautifully spread out, sweets are lying on it, romantic music is playing, there is a freshly brought ice for drinks near the bar.

In this hotel there is no all inclusive lunch and dinner, only for a fee except breakfast. What I want to say about this is the only point where I would make a remark. The food for breakfast is monotonous, more like an "English breakfast", sausages, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, fruits, vegetables and coffee, they make fresh, for a fee. And so every day, nothing changes.
For lunch and dinner we always went out into the city. Prices in cafes and restaurants are much higher than average, it cost us about $100 to eat for two.
In the evenings, classical music is almost always played in the hotel's Hall, live, of course, the sound is amazing, pleasing to the ear.
The hotel has a Spa, one visit was free, here I want to say... everything is sooooo, it was very cool, I have never seen such a spa center anywhere. My husband did not want to go there, to any, to go, with grief I got him and persuaded him to keep me company. After visiting, he became a fan of spa salons, which is completely unusual for him. I really wanted to go back there and hang out there all 2 weeks, but the price tag there goes off scale, the simplest procedures cost starting from $ 250-290.
The hotel has several restaurants, but we have not been to any of them, we dined a couple of times in the pool, right at the bar.
Once we ordered dinner in the room, everything was very beautiful, tasty and graceful. On the last day, my husband surprised me by ordering a romantic dinner on the beach. It was stunningly beautiful. On the beach itself, a white tent is set up, made of fabric, there is a table in the middle, torches are lit near the table, when my husband brought me, the guy who served us later threw rose petals under his feet, thereby making a path leading to the table.
