Rested with my husband in late August - early September 2009. We really enjoyed : )
I want to say right away that the hotel is absolutely not suitable for lovers of "all-inclusive" and noisy parties, however, like the whole of Tioman. There is nothing to do here after sunset, except to sit on the porch of the chalet and listen to the cicadas, there is no animation, discos and the like. But on the beautiful territory overgrown with coconut palms, funny prim European grandmothers roam back and forth, changing their bathing suits three times a day for each exit to the beach, friendly and direct young Asian couples from somewhere in Singapore, two-meter monitor lizards and robbers completely crazed from their own impunity -macaque : )
All the main life in the hotel revolves around the pool - I just can’t get used to the strange habit of foreigners to ignore the sea, especially as warm and gentle as the South China Sea. We swam almost alone. The beach is beautiful, long, deserted, after 3 o'clock in the afternoon the low tide begins and all the sand is strewn with fragments of corals and shells. Corals and pebbles, by the way, start very close to the shore and attract schools of amazing multi-colored fish, large, small, strangely elongated - all kinds : ) Asian hearts), told us that she saw with masks in the sea right in front of the hotel three stingrays (not those about which they write horrors on the Internet, but harmless ones (if I'm not mistaken, they are called mangroves). : )

The food at the hotel was excellent and to the slaughter, the buffet could satisfy the abundance and variety of guests of all ages and denominations: meat, and fish, and a special Indian vegetarian menu, and Chinese noodles, and the divine Malay "nasi" (all kinds of rice dishes) - this is not to mention pastries, sweets and fruits. I don't think anyone would be dissatisfied. For those who wish, there is a bar by the pool and a cafe on the beach opens in the evening (albeit with terribly mixed cocktails and a rather amateurish show of singing girls in miniskirts, but you should forgive the Muslim country, which already learns this "debauchery" only for the sake of foreign tourists) : ).
The staff is friendly and kind. I really liked that the disposition of the Malays towards tourists is not feigned, as in Turkey, and not servile, as they say, in Thailand, namely, sincere and not dropping self-esteem.
Our holiday was a success, and I am sure it will be remembered for a long time. I sincerely recommend this hotel to fans of non-trivial, but at the same time comfortable trips (for extreme people on Tioman, a bungalow in Dzhuar or on Salang is more suitable : )), as well as finished romantics for honeymoon trips : )
