It was opened in 2008 on the shore of the bay, near the border with Dubai. The Sharjah Aquarium features a colorful, rich and varied underwater world. More than 250 marine life peacefully coexist in it: from miniature seahorses and urchins to large and small fish that swim in unique aquariums that accurately reproduce the seabed with coral reefs and artificial lagoons. On special electronic stands, which can be easily used by both adults and children, there is complete information in Arabic and English about the inhabitants of the underwater world represented in the Aquarium.

very cute
it is very useful to visit the Sharjah Aquarium with children . . You will get a lot of impressions. Small aquarium with lots of fish and corals. formidable inhabitants such as sharks, moray eels, lionfish, sea urchins. There are even those creatures that can be found near the coast: stingrays and colored jellyfish. Enjoyed by both children and adults
Small but interesting aquarium. At the entrance there is a pool with sharks, then you go through rooms with aquariums and flasks, then a tunnel, and then a pool over which there is a glass bridge, and under it turtles, stingrays, etc. fish swim. There is a souvenir shop.→

Liked it a lot
The aquarium is not huge, but enough to get lost there for an hour. There are many fish, turtles, sharks - everything your heart desires. Opposite there is a maritime museum, we didn’t go there (and we went around so many museums in Sharjah)). Entrance ticket - 40 dirhams.→

The museum on the second floor impressed me more than the aquarium itself. There are many rare exhibits of representatives of the marine fauna. And the aquarium itself is not as big as expected and as expected, looking at gigantism everywhere and in everything. However, he's not bad at all. Recommend.→

Beautiful, exciting, fresh!
Lots of fish! Everyone got a lot of fun. During the last visit, the aquarium was undergoing a major overhaul, now everything is done at the highest level. There are funny souvenirs, a cafeteria. It would be nice if they carried out more promotions and introduced a discount system. I liked it very much - I recommend it to families with children!→
