The monument is a marble pedestal on which rises the figure of the composer, covered with gilding. In the background, an arch is made of white marble, decorated with bas-reliefs of dancing couples and classic floral ornaments. Flowers are planted in front of the monument, which emphasizes the originality of the building.

In the city park of Vienna (Stadtpark) there is one of the symbols of the city and its most photographed attraction - a monument to the "king of waltzes" Johann Strauss. A monument appeared in the park in 1921, sculptor Edmund Helmer. The moment of the composer's creative inspiration is captured in bronze, as a memory of the golden era of balls and a light soaring waltz.
