Prague Philharmonic Rudolfinum

The Prague Philharmonic "Rudolfinum" is located on the banks of the Vltava on Jan Palach Square, in the historical center of Prague. It is the first cultural center in Europe and was named after Prince Rudolf of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The building of the concert hall was built in the period 1876-1886 with the financial support of the Czech Savings Bank. The large hall of the philamornium can accommodate 1023 seats, the small hall is designed for 211 seats. Today, the Rudolfinum is the main cultural venue in Prague, where concerts, music festivals and contemporary art exhibitions take place.

World famous concert hall
The world-famous concert hall and home stage of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, where he first performed in 1896 under the direction of A. Dvorak. The building in the Neo-Renaissance style was built in 1876-84. Initially, there was an art gallery, museum exhibition and concert hall. In 1918-38 and 1945-46 the house served the National Assembly. The main hall named after Dvorak is a place of unique concerts of classical music.→

A place where you want to return
I attended an hour and a half classical music concert designed especially for tourists. It was an inexpensive and at the same time delightful pastime. At the concert we enjoyed elementary classical reproductions which were pleasant and easy to listen to. During the concert, you realize that all these musicians are actually much more talented and capable than they seem at first glance. It seems to me that they themselves selected music for its audience. It was a pleasant memory that I want to repeat again.→
