Walking up the Rambla up from the Columbus monument, I actually went to the Carrefour supermarket, walking a little on the left I saw the Boqueria market. Market-SUPER. With its own atmosphere, musicians, just tables to sit or on the parapet. To say everything is there is to say nothing. eyes run up from the choice, colors and all sorts of things. The prices are acceptable, in my opinion, no different from Kyiv, even in half the cases cheaper than ours. Even if you do not plan to buy anything, be sure to go there.

The business on Boqueria is mostly family run - many shopkeepers are descendants of the first merchants who made money from food stalls centuries ago. A very colorful place! Please note that glasses with chilled and chopped fruit (they quench your thirst well and allow you to have a snack "on the go") are cheaper in the market than the same ones on the Rambla. Moreover, in the evening, the price for them decreases even more. Spanish saffron is very popular (I bought it just on Boqueria). By the way, this is the most expensive and unique spice on earth.

This market is very old and very popular. Located on la Rambla, 91, almost opposite the Liceu metro station. Prices are high, however, you will not find frankly low prices anywhere in Barcelona : ) Here you need to try everything that they give you to try: take wine, thin layers of jamon strung on sticks, fruits, nuts, sweets and try right there, in this noisy colorful place with the smells of seafood and spices. The choice is huge, although the market itself is not very large. Please note that the market is closed on Sunday.
