Over several centuries of construction, the image of the cathedral changed, multiplying several architectural styles in its appearance: the 11th century brought the Romanesque direction, the 13th century - Gothic motifs, and the 18th century gave Baroque luxury. There is a legend that looking at the magnificent facade of the Cathedral, Wagner found inspiration for one of his works.

A giant staircase of 90 steps leads to the main western faç ade. According to legend, the one who, climbing the stairs, counts an even number of steps is a righteous man, and an odd number is a sinner. Count carefully! : )

Inside the Cathedral, pay attention to the exhibits of the Treasury of the temple:
- old thick Bibles (13th century), written in calligraphic handwriting, embossed with gold, with bright illustrations so far. Near each exhibit there is a button that turns on the backlight and makes it possible to examine the details;
- "Tapestry of the Universe" (Tapis de la Creacio), 12th century.
It hangs in a separate room, dimly lit on purpose so that it does not fade even more, and depicts the naive ideas of medieval residents about the structure of the world.

Address: Placa de la Catedral. Entrance 7 euros. The ticket is complex, includes a visit to the Church of Sant Feliu (Iglesia Santa-Feliu). Please note that on Sundays the entrance to the Cathedral is free. Photography inside the temple is prohibited.
