It turns out that in the good old Helsinki there is a very decent zoological museum. The museum's collection is not so large as to be tiresome, but interesting enough to keep the visitor busy for a couple of hours. The museum has three floors - on the first floor there are skeletons of animals, on the second - the animals themselves in the form of stuffed animals, and on the third - skeletons and reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric living creatures. The exposition is very interesting and lovingly compiled, each room is thematically decorated. So, for example, when entering a hall representing tropical animals, you will feel how the floor began to spring under your feet, covered with a special carpet with a long pile, imitating the fallen leaves of a tropical forest. All the exhibits are in perfect condition, and from the skillfully draped speakers, the singing of tropical birds, the roar of the northern bear is periodically heard - depending on the hall you entered. Wow!
A lot of emotions even I have - for a long time an adult girl! And what can we say about children?
Museum staff do not speak Russian, however, in the museum lobby, you can take brochures and a map of the museum in Russian. Also, some of the information (about the cost of tickets, the museum's work schedule) is duplicated in Russian. The museum has a small gift shop, a bistro cafe with normal prices and a free cloakroom with coin-operated lockers.
Entrance to the museum is paid: adults - 10 euros, children - 5 euros, photo and video shooting - free of charge.

Tip: a few days a year visiting the museum from 17 to 19 hours is free! See the dates of distribution of free "buns" on the official website of the museum: http://www. luomus. fi/ru
