Khertvisi fortress
Georgia, Aspinza
Khertvisi Fortress is located on a rock, at the confluence of the Kura and Paravani rivers, in the southern part of Georgia. The fortress consists of a citadel and a lower fortress surrounded by a stone wall. Most of the buildings date back to the 10th-14th centuries, some buildings date back to the 16th-18th centuries.
