The Peace Bridge is a pedestrian bridge on the Kura River, between the Metekhi and Baratashvili bridges. The bridge connects Irakli II Street and Rike Park. The bridge consists of a 156-meter steel frame covered with glass. The whole structure rests on 4 powerful supports. You can get to the bridge both from the side of Irakli II Street and Rike Park, and from the embankments of the boulevards.

The bridge was officially opened on May 6, 2010. The architect of the bridge is the Italian Michele de Lucchi, who had previously built the Avlabar residence and the new building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Unusual bridge - will appeal to all lovers of modern style
The bridge looks good both during the day and with evening illumination. I first saw him in the video of Sukhishvili's ballet. I did not expect to see such buildings in Georgia. If you want to take a picture, it is better to do it early in the morning - while there are no people. I advise everyone to visit!→

An interesting contrast against the background of old Tbilisi
A unique building that cannot be overlooked. When they show photos of this place to friends, everyone is sure that we are talking about Europe, but panoramic photos give out the oriental flavor of Georgia! According to the guide, the locals called this bridge Always...For its resemblance to some personal hygiene items...But tourists love the bridge, they are happy to take pictures on it, and in the evening there is a beautiful backlight, which is worse than before, but still beautiful. The bridge is not just one alien in Tbilisi, there are two more similar modern objects nearby, and therefore everything together looks quite organically.→

Unusual building for Tbilisi
The bridge connects the old city and the new park. A rather unusual building that does not fit into the surrounding landscape, but I liked the bridge. Beautiful, stylish, modern. In general, Tbilisi is now a combination of natural beauty, antiquity and modern architecture, a very diverse city. The bridge has excellent illumination at night, the pictures are especially beautiful - the reflection in the water.→
