Ferris wheel Budapest

Sziget Eye, Budapest Eye
Hungary, Budapest
The Ferris wheel in Budapest is the world's largest mobile attraction, popular with locals and tourists. From the highest point of the wheel at a height of 60 meters - the height of a bird's eye view - a magnificent view of the city opens. The Ferris wheel has 41 air-conditioned booths made of durable glass for 8 seats and a VIP booth for 4 seats - a total of 332 visitors at a time. The performance lasts about 10 minutes, during which time the wheel will make 4 revolutions. The wheel is illuminated in the evening and at night by 10,000 colored lights.
For the first time, the attraction was mounted in 2013 on the island of Obud, where the famous music festival "Siget" was held. After the end of the festival, for tourist attraction, the wheel is installed for 4-5 weeks in those places in Budapest, from where you can most fully admire the panorama of the Hungarian capital. A mobile attraction weighing 160 tons is assembled in a week, most often Sziget Ey works on Erzhebet (Elisabeth) Square.

I am a fan of Ferris wheels and cable cars, so I could not pass by. The price is 9 euros - 5 laps, and at first the wheel is completely filled, and at this time you can take plenty of pictures. then the wheel makes 5 circles. The view from all sides is very beautiful, if I am in Budapest, I will ride again.

I am not a big connoisseur of the Ferris wheel as an entertainment structure, but I really love all sorts of hills from where you can take a view of the city, so I never miss the Ferris wheel. The wheel is located in the very center of the city, the booths are glazed but a little dirty, so don't count on the ringing clarity of the photos. However, we rode at night and that was quite enough. The wheel makes several circles at a fairly fast speed - you will not get bored. In general, an attraction for 7 euros for an amateur.
