The sculpture "Walking in the Rain" was created by the famous Hungarian sculptor Imre Varga and installed in 1986. The monument is located in Obud on Fö Square, near the Zichy Palace. This is the most controversial sculpture by Imre Varga, there are several interpretations of this composition. According to one version, the monument depicts women waiting for their husbands from the front, according to another version, female students are waiting for their bus at the bus stop. The author himself admitted in an interview that his “Walking in the Rain” depicts unfortunate fallen women.

An original sculptural composition adorns one of the streets of Obuda. This is "Walking in the Rain" - the creation of the Hungarian sculptor Imre Varg. The masters were inspired to create the sculpture by Parisian French women. If you're in Obuda, don't miss it.
