Sforza Castle is a famous castle in Milan, the residence of the Dukes of the Sforza dynasty. It was first built in the 14th century as the residence of the Visconti, but was dismantled by the rebellious people. The castle was rebuilt by Francesco Sforza in the middle of the 15th century. Currently, the Sforza Castle houses museums, exhibitions and various expositions.

The castle is very large with many galleries and passages. Single entrance ticket for all museums inside. Plan 4.5 hours if you want to walk around the whole. I went to look at Michelangelo's Pieta Rondanini and da Vinci's diaries. The Pinakothek is represented by Renaissance masters, but the Uffizi is better for my taste. And for some reason I remember the hall of dishes and musical instruments, it's not clear : )
