Visiting Mirabilandia was part of the plan of our independent trip to Italy in August 2014. Someday I will write about the whole trip, but now about the amusement park.
Mirabilandia is located near the town of Ravenna, where we stayed for 2 nights (by the way, I also really liked the city).
The amusement park is the third largest in Europe after Disneyland Paris and Port Aventura in Spain.
Italians and not only them come here, with whole families for 2 days. The ticket is valid for 2 days, you can buy both with and without hotel accommodation. But you can also choose different options for visiting. For example, after 15:00 there are discounts for evening visits, and in summer the park is open until 23:00. So you can spend a good evening - watch the sunset from the Ferris wheel or ride a roller coaster, boats, etc. The territory is huge, well-groomed, all sorts of cars, trains drive, you can walk and have fun.
There are various cafes on the territory, but the prices are higher than in the city.
There is also a water park and a beach for a fee. In the summer, in the heat, it is very important, especially if you have arrived for 2 days.
We traveled from Ravenna by bus, it is very convenient to bring us directly to the park and pick us up from there. There is a timetable at the stops, so you can choose what time it is more convenient to leave.
There are a lot of attractions, in 1 day you can hardly have time to ride all of them. We didn’t have time, because there were a lot of people, there were queues everywhere and it was August)
I liked Katun and Rio Bravo, Pakal the most. Still cool on the Eurowheel Ferris wheel (one of the highest in Europe), but after extreme slides, it only relaxes.
There is nothing special outside the territory of the Mirabilandia park - a large parking lot, a long alley, a lake. And to the left of the entrance is a Ferrari car for a test drive.
If you like to "drive" at speed - everything is at your service - you can with a driver, you can drive yourself (the navigator is nearby).
In a word, if you find yourself in Italy in these parts, it is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are with children, but without children it will not be boring.
