Murano is a colorful and vibrant island where the famous Murano glass is made. If you are a fan of glass products, you will definitely like it here. On average, a set of pendant and earrings will cost you 35 euros, the prices here are not small. The rest will surely enjoy a short tour of the glass factory, where they show the manufacturing process itself and offer to purchase something glass and very expensive. Walk around the island - and you will see a lot of intricate glass sculptures, colorful houses and a huge number of souvenir shops where you will be sold a pound of glass sweets : ).

Island of glassblowers. Glass masterpieces will be born in front of your eyes in small workshops. A bewitching spectacle! And believe me, without shopping, you definitely won’t leave this island! What is important to know is that China has already reached here. Real Murano glass will cost more than Chinese glass and must be accompanied by a manufacturer's certificate confirming the authenticity of the product. P. S. Be sure to check the vaporetto timetable http://www. actv. it/sites/default/files/ultimorario.

On our first Adriatic cruise, we stayed on the island of Murano at the Locandjo Conterie. This is the former home of a wealthy glassblower, converted into a hotel. Because of the fear of fires, glassblowers were evicted to the island of Murano, who during the time of the Republic of Venice were the only ones in Europe who could make mirrors and grind glasses for glasses. Now it is a mini-Venice with canals, basilicas and campanellas. A special chic is the glass figures scattered throughout the island.
