coin tower

Munttoren, Mint Tower, Munt
Netherlands, Amsterdam
The Coin Tower is a tower in Amsterdam. It stands on the lively Mint Square, at the confluence of the Amstel River and the Singel Canal, at the flower market and the eastern part of the Kalverstraat shopping street.

The tower was originally part of the Regulierscourt, one of the main gates in Amsterdam's medieval city wall. The gate, built in 1480-1487, consisted of two towers and a guard house. After a fire in 1618, only the guard house and part of the western tower survived. The tower was restored in the Renaissance style in 1619-1620. The tower got its modern name because in the 17th century it was temporarily used together with the guard house as a mint.

I put 4, because I didn’t retain any special impressions in my memory, Well, we went downstairs to a porcelain shop ...Well, I don’t need a copy of a genuine item from the Delft Manufactory, well, I don’t live in Mezhyhirya.
