The area is located on almost 40 thousand square meters. m (fifth place in Poland), and 11 streets come out of it. There are many bright and original houses on the square, each beautiful and unique in its own way. This is a great example of how to preserve the center of your pride for posterity. Very authentic. It's always very crowded here. The area is full of cafes, souvenirs and, of course, hiding gnomes, which all tourists are trying to find and photograph. Right next to the square, behind the houses of Hansel and Gretel, there is an entrance to the underground land of the gnomes. Every year, fairs and shows of street artists are held on the square, and here you can also meet mini-concerts of street artists, musicians, mimes, jugglers and illusionists. In 2000, a modern fountain was built, which was named Zdró j in honor of the city's president.
