State Literary and Memorial Museum. A.S. Pushkin was opened to the public in 1949, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the poet, in his family estate in the village of Bolshoe Boldino. Later, the museum was transformed into a literary-memorial and natural museum-reserve, which included: the estate of the poet's father with the house where A.S. Pushkin lived and worked; the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God, built by the grandfather of Alexander Sergeevich and consecrated in the year of his birth; children's museum of Pushkin's fairy tales; a park with trees contemporaries of Pushkin; grove Luchinnik with a spring in which the poet liked to relax; the village of Lvovka, 9 km from Boldino, with an exposition in the house of grandfather Pushkin, dedicated to the characters of Belkin's Tales.
In Boldino, in the autumn of 1830, A.S. Pushkin experienced a rise in creative inspiration, when in 3 months he wrote about fifty works of various genres. This period of the poet's creative biography is known as "Boldino Autumn". A kitchen, a bathhouse, a servants' room, a barn, a carriage house, and a stable have been recreated in the estate. Ponds with earthen dams, a wooden carved bridge, and an old apple orchard have been preserved in the park. At the entrance to the park there is a sculpture of Alexander Pushkin resting on a bench. All things, documents and manuscripts presented in the museum are authentic.

Finally, we found some time and were able to get into the car on a sunny weekend and in 1.5 hours find ourselves in one of the most beautiful places in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In general, I agree with the opinion of those who consider it a crime to live next to such beauty and so rarely enjoy the charm of these picturesque parks. Commenting on anything is pointless. Just look at the photo. Colors and colors, silence and peace are amazing, and even if the family is nearby and in full force ...→
