River Kwai

Khwae Yai River
Thailand, Kanchanaburi
The Kwai River, 380 km long, runs through the mountains of the Umphang region in northwestern Thailand. On the banks of the river there is an elephant farm, thermal springs and various hotel complexes. Of particular historical interest is the bridge over the River Kwai, which is part of the railway known as the Death Road. The popularity of the River Kwai was brought by the films The Bridge on the River Kwai and Retribution.

Everything is fine. only at the 2nd level of the Erawat waterfall it seems there are water bugs biting. they look like wood lice. small. I met 5-7 cm in the sea. You can swim there at once on levels 3 and 4. ost for an amateur. the massage is very hard to do. without training, the body can damage something. and how to jump into the water and this is in the morning at 9 o'clock and the water is a little cold. Swim for 5 minutes. warm up your muscles. then raft slowly look at nature.

Excursion to the river. Kwai includes a lot of interesting things. And of course the river itself is the highlight of the tour. The river separates Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand and actually flows through the forest and rocks. There is also a waterfall flowing into the river straight from the jungle. If desired, it was possible to raft down the river to the hotel. I didn't miss this opportunity. During the daytime, the flow of the river is small. Swimming is a pleasure. But at night it is better not to try to swim in the river, as the current increases very much.
