Picturesque Ko Phi Phi, located 40 km south of Krabi town and 30 km southeast of Phuket, is actually two different islands: Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. Both are part of the Phiphihat Nopparat Thra National Park, which also includes part of the mainland near Au Nang.

Both islands are famous for their picturesque landscapes - here you can find not only secluded coves and beaches, the azure sea and lush tropical vegetation, but also amazingly beautiful cliffs emerging from the sea to a height of several tens of meters. There are no roads and no land transport on Phi Phi - all movement between the bays is carried out on the beach of the island of Phi Phi Lei, Maya Bay "long-tailed" boats and canoes.

A must to visit in Thailand
The Phi Phi Islands are one of the most visited places in Thailand. And no wonder, because the popularity of the islands was made by Hollywood itself, and in particular the movie Beach with Leo DiCaprio. Now it’s not Hollywood stars that run along the beaches there, but crowds of tourists, but, nevertheless, this doesn’t scare anyone away, because the beauty of Maya Bay, Phi Phi Don’s incendiary parties and excellent snorkeling - you shouldn’t refuse this. So we did not refuse, being the first time in Phuket.→

An island with a funny name
If you are located in Phuket, be sure to take a boat trip to some island. We chose a trip to the island with the funny name Phi Phi, or Phi Phi, for ease of speech : ) This is not even one island, as is commonly thought, but a whole group of islands located in the Andaman Sea. We were taken to the largest of them Phi Phi Don. The island is very popular, so there are many boats with tourists. To take pictures without tourists, go a little further from the main mass of people. The water here is clear, of an unusual azure blue color, the photographs against the background of rocks overgrown with jungle are wonderful, I have never seen anything like it before.→
