Mount Palandoken is located in the east of the Anatolian region, 5 km southwest of the city of Erzurum. Here is the youngest ski resort in Turkey. The ski area is located at an altitude of 2200-3125 meters above sea level. The usual thickness of the snow cover is about 2 meters. The climate in this area is continental, and during the winter season snow falls periodically.
