The Green Canyon is a unique reserve located 40 km from Side, in the Taurus Mountains. The canyon is located on the banks of the Oymapinar reservoir. Here you can fish, swim or just admire the views of the reserve from the observation deck. The pier is also located here, from where both group and individual boat tours depart daily.

Great excursion to Green canion
Very picturesque and beautiful natural place)! The view of the mountains and the water is mesmerizing, the water is emerald green, and dry large trees add exoticism. It is not hot on the yacht, the water is up to 20 * degrees - cool) For lunch we went to the restaurant (the same place), they cook delicious buffet. The staff is friendly. On the territory there is a shop with sweets and souvenirs. We got a lot of fun)!! !→

Poor organization of the tour
Arriving in Turkey, not for the first time, we wanted to get on the Genuk Canyon tour (30 minutes from our hotel), but our representative Tui dissuaded us, advised another Green Canyon tour. Said she was much more interesting. Paid with a discount of $126, two adults and one child. 1) Transfer, one way road about 2 hours from Beldibi village. 2) I liked fishing and lunch. 3) Walking on a catamaran along the canyon, with swimming, we should have seen a waterfall and a cave. We didn't have a guide, although we should have.→

Green Canyon from Alanya
We went on an excursion Green Canyon from Alanya. $40 per person. Who will go on an excursion, the road takes about 3 hours one way, taking into account the gathering of people at hotels. What is this walk. You are put on a large boat, where you ride in silence for about 1.5 hours, look at the beautiful views. The guide tells some dry facts about this attraction, height, etc. Then swimming from the pier, it is deep there, the water is really clean and very refreshing, the water temperature is 21-22 degrees, few people swam.→

Water in all shades of green and blue!
The canyon is located 25 km from Side, the road to it is a serpentine with sharp turns, a little tiring, but the views from the window are very beautiful. The first stop is at the dam, where there is an observation deck overlooking the stunning landscape of the Green Canyon. The dam itself impresses with its scale of construction. The reservoir is deep, about 130 meters. Then the journey itself begins on a small boat, which slowly sails through the wide expanse of water of the Green Canyon. In the middle of the turquoise surface, large and small rocks protrude, with a variety of trees and shrubs of coniferous and deciduous species, and the water changes its color depending on the play of shadows and light from dark green to transparent blue.→
