Anthony's Caves is a cave complex that is part of the National Architectural and Historical Preserve "Ancient Chernihiv". It consists of interconnected underground galleries with a total length of 350 meters. Here are the churches of St. Anthony, St. Theodosius and St. Nicholas Svyatosha, as well as the cell of Anthony of the Caves.

For lovers of history and esotericism
This time we did not go to the caves and took pictures of their outer part in the form of churches. The dungeon has a part for tourists and closed passages. You can wander, you can meditate, you can pray, because there is an underground church.→

Exciting excursion
I don’t know where the practice of sensory deprivation appeared earlier - in Eastern religions or in the Christian one. The most advanced Christians practiced in caves, including here in Chernihiv. Such practices, incomprehensible to most people, are always shrouded in exciting mystery, and excite the imagination. Real skulls and bones of people buried in caves add to the effect... From a tourist point of view, I consider the caves the second most important attraction of Chernihiv. I recommend taking a good storyteller, so that he broadcasts not only the height, width and year of construction.→
