The fortress "Trenches of the Holy Trinity" is located in the village of Okopy, Ternopil region, not far from Khotyn. It was built at the end of the 17th century and for a long time was an important point of defense against Turkish troops. This was facilitated by its advantageous position: the fortress was located between the rivers Dniester and Zbruch.
Today, ruins remain of the fortress, two gates, part of the wall of the watch tower, as well as the remains of ditches and earthen ramparts have been preserved.
