Baikovo cemetery is located in the Goloseevsky district of the capital. It was opened in 1831 and currently has an area of 72.5 hectares. Initially, it was intended for Catholics and Lutherans, the Orthodox began to be buried here a year later. At the end of the 20th century, a crematorium and a columbarium were opened at the cemetery.
