The Church of St. Anne and the monastery is a monument of history and architecture in Lviv at the crossroads of Horodotska and Shevchenko (former Yanovskaya) streets. After the legalization of the UGCC, the building became the property of this denomination and is called the Church of St. Anna.

The wooden Roman Catholic Church of St. Anne was founded in 1507 on the site where city guards were killed and buried apprentice tailors who fled from Lviv. In 1509 the church burned down and only in 1599 was restored.
The current building was built in 1730. The specific features of the Baroque are combined with the modesty and simplicity of divisions, structures, silhouette lines, modesty of decoration and other signs of the Renaissance. A later element is a tower built in 1927 by architect B. Viktor with an Art Deco dome. In front of the tower there is a trihedral narthex decorated with pilasters. The former church is a single-nave basilica with a faceted three-tiered tower on the facade, built of stone and brick. The ceilings are vaulted, sloping roof with signature. Behind the tower in the center is a pediment flanked by vases. Arched window openings in frames. In Soviet times, there was a warehouse in the church, and later cash desks, which were called Gorodotsky (from the name of Gorodotska Street).

The temple has a modern interior after restoration in 1997. The monastery building, which adjoins on the south side, has preserved the characteristic features of the architecture of the 18th century.
