The Vorontsovsky lighthouse is located at the end of the Raidovy (former Quarantine) pier. It has a rich history and is one of the hallmarks of the city. The lighthouse was built in 1845, then it was repeatedly reconstructed and changed its appearance. A new modern lighthouse was built in 1953, its 26-meter white tower is decorated with a red lantern. Vorontsovsky lighthouse is the hero of many literary works.
