The Radomysl Castle Museum was erected in 2007-2011, its basis is the building of an old mill built in the city of Radomysl in 1902. During the restoration, the interiors of the 17th-19th centuries were recreated. The castle-museum houses the only Museum of Ukrainian domestic icons in Europe. The expositions and funds of the complex also include collections of sacred art and church utensils, Ukrainian and European antiquities. The historical and cultural complex also includes a landscape park with two waterfalls, as well as islands, rare plants and ancient sculptures of the 17th-19th centuries.

Radomysl Castle - amazing, 100% worth a visit
I love to travel, while Europe is closed, I began to explore Ukraine. To be honest, this castle was not the main part of my travel itinerary, but after visiting it, it became one. Radomysl Castle is located not far from Kyiv, only 107 km, in the city of Radomyshl, and 74 km from Zhytomyr. On the territory of the castle there is also a hotel where you can stay overnight, the minimum price of a room in September was 3500 UAH, there is also a restaurant. The entrance fee to the castle grounds for adults is 150 UAH.→

Beautiful!
Very beautiful and complete attraction. Such a level of objects in Ukraine, unfortunately, is rare. Inside is an amazing museum of non-canonical icons. During the tour, we were given a master class on making paper according to the old recipes of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The outside is also very beautiful, the castle is surrounded by red ivy, many statues, bridges...You can come here for interesting photo shoots.→

Radomysl Castle (Radomysl)
The place itself is very pleasant (considering that until recently there was a city garbage dump), everyone who put it in order is great fellows. In the castle there is a museum of domestic icons (collected icons from all over Ukraine), there are copies of the old domestic utensils (Ukrainian). On the territory of a small park. All this can be seen on their website (very well done, there is a virtual tour). But I want to write about something else, I didn’t like everything, I left my comments on their website, they didn’t publish it (it means we publish everything good, we don’t notice comments).→
