Buzhsky Guard is a natural park located in the north-west of the Nikolaev region. It was founded in 2009. Buzhsky Gard occupies a vast area of more than 6 thousand hectares. It is one of the most beautiful natural monuments of the country: a lot of greenery, rapids, waterfalls, canyons and relic rocks delight not only tourists and travelers, but also rafting enthusiasts.

Journey along the ecological path

They accidentally invited me on a tour of the canyons of the Southern Bug in the Nikolaev region. The canyons are located on the territory of the Bug Guard National Park. This is one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. The virgin beauty of nature, the fantastic pile of rocks, the indescribable aroma of the air are striking. You just need to see and feel the aroma of steppe herbs.→

Great adventure

A rock, a river with rapids and a radon lake - all this in the Buzhsky Gard reserve. The rock is high, but submissive, and extremely picturesque. And the conqueror will be rewarded with the most beautiful views of the bends of the Southern Bug and the surrounding landscapes. The rapids in this place of the Bug have long become a place of pilgrimage for extreme sportsmen. The lake is small, of quarry origin, therefore it is very deep (42 m). They say that radon comes out of the depths, so the water is healing and radioactive.→
