The Chekhov House Museum in Yalta is the place where the writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov spent the last years of his life. Here he wrote some of his famous works. The house was erected within one year (October 1898 - September 1899) according to the project of architect L. N. Shapovalov.

Interesting movie and good guide.
I liked the documentary about Chekhov Anton Pavlovich and the guide's stories. And the house itself is so-so, like a landmark. But I had free time and wanted to do something useful. In principle - not bad.→

Would you like to plunge into the world of Chekhov?
Even though the house is half an hour walk from the city center, it is not easy to find it. The guide was a cool, good speaker and told not only a mean chronicle of the life of Anton Pavlovich, but also some interesting nuances. There is a nice garden next to the house. It's only worth it if you have a couple of hours to spare and love museums.→

Where in Yalta Chekhov wrote "Three Sisters"
The idea to pay a visit to Chekhov's south coast estate was suggested by his wife. News about the existence of this museum reached us, but, leading an unconscious social life, we did not dare to call here. The museum is located on the outskirts of Yalta. While still in the center, our main task was to get to Kirov Street, which would pave the way for us to the estate without any GPs there. By the way, if, after visiting the museum, you continue moving along the same street, then you will find yourself on the South Coast Highway without too much headache, and there you will have maps and a couple of guidebooks in your hands.→
