We were in Mui Ne in December. As soon as we saw photos of waterfalls near the city of Baolok, I immediately wanted to see them. We bought an excursion at the Mui Ne Tour agency at a very attractive price.
At 5:00 a. m. , a bus pulled up for us. The group consisted of only 11 people. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioned.
We stopped on the way to take pictures against the backdrop of the lake at dawn. The photos turned out just wonderful. The next stop was at the tea plantations. It turns out that tea bushes are not tall. There was no special aroma on the plantations.
The highlight of the tour is Dumbri Park. There are 2 waterfalls in this park: Dambri and Dasara. One of them consists of several levels, the second is 60 m high, to the top of which a glass elevator leads. Of the entertainment in the park, there are "roller coasters" with a length of more than 1600 m.
Local shops offer to buy tea, coffee, souvenirs.
Lunch is included in the cost of the tour, quite varied, large portions, very tasty.
At the end we visited a Buddhist temple. Like all temples in Asia, it is beautiful, bright, well-groomed.
We returned to the hotel at 6pm.
Tips for visiting:
Clothing must cover the shoulders and knees, this dress code is valid for entering the temple.
It is cool in the mountains in the morning, so take a blouse.
The stores are expensive - coffee, tea in Mui Ne are cheaper.
Keep electronics away from waterfall splashes. If you have a waterproof cover, then wear it or don't take pictures very close to the waterfall.
The tour was bought in Mui Ne Tour. The price per person is only $33. The guide was good, interesting and talked a lot. The bus is comfortable, air-conditioned, the group is small.
