Dear Laura, Of course, there will be the best if you visit Greece more than once, because. It is impossible to get acquainted with the history and culture of this country in one day. But the most notable excursions: Meteora, Thessaloniki, Cruise around the holy Mount Athos and I would also advise Athens. Excursion to Athens moving is very long, so if you are flying for more than 1 week, then of course you should visit this excursion. Also if you have an interest to buy a fur coat. and Greece, ... Good day to all! We are going to Crete as a family in June 2013 with children (5 and 11 years old). Among other excursions we want to visit the island of Santorini. I want to ask advice from "experienced" travelers: how best to prepare for the excursion, does it shake a lot on the boat, maybe it's better to give the children some drugs for motion sickness before the trip, go on an excursion on their own or with a tour operator, what to bring as souvenirs ??? In general, we are interested in any nuances, one way or another connected with a trip to Santorini with children. Thanks in advance for the information.

Good afternoon, be sure to visit excursions in Greece. The cost of the most expensive from the GERAKINA BEACH hotel will be in Athens-100 euros per person, Meteora-70 euros, Vergina-Olympus-Dion-55 euros, Cruise "St. Athos"-50 euros. In Greece, there are excellent guides who are truly in love with their country and know its history thoroughly. You will receive interesting information, along the way you will not be bored, you will stop at the famous monuments of Greek history. Meteora is a unique ... Farther...
Three weeks trip. Would love to see more. It is desirable to share the experience of personal "movement" to the sights.

Hello Sandra! I can recommend all excursions except the fur factory. But, if you are traveling with children, then keep in mind that all excursions are long and take place in the morning, in the first half of the day, i.e. into the hell. It was unbearable for us adults, even with their comfortable buses. Very exhausting, and interest disappears, although there is certainly something to see and listen to. If you tolerate the heat easily, then you will like everything. The price is not cheap for ... Farther...

It is best to relax in Pieria in Platamonas. It is convenient to go to Meteora on your own, then you fall on the tail of some Russian-speaking excursion, and then climb and see for yourself. If you are interested, I will describe a lot of interesting places that you can see if you are based in Pieria. Farther...

In Meteora 30 at Mouzenides, if you wish, you can buy from Serbian tour operators on the street full of their representatives for 10 euros. Athens, in my opinion, was about 80, I don’t remember exactly, they didn’t go. Farther...
Good afternoon, we are going with friends to go to Greece in September. We don't know where to go. We are three girls, 23 years old. We are going for a week, we want to swim in the sea, a beautiful beach, visit several excursions, in a word, a combined vacation. Please tell me - where to go to rest in Greece for the first time, and what excursions to visit, it is desirable that they be near the hotel (or relatively close) We think to save a little on the hotel, but visit interesting places

Good day to all! We are a young couple, in August we are going to go to Greece for the first time .. We deliberately do not consider the islands because we want to see the sights. Help with the choice. I would like to lie in the sun, swim in the clear sea, sandy beach, beautiful landscapes (well, very beautiful), and travel on excursions. I read that it’s very far to travel from the resorts of Halkidik for all excursions, but it’s beautiful there. Is it so? Is the Peloponnese inferior in beauty? Since we are a young couple, we would like the presence of bars and a couple of discos. Tell me where exactly in the Peloponnese you can actively and have fun? There is relatively little information on the Internet about the resorts of this peninsula. For a long time I can not decide where it is better to go.

The beauty of Halkidiki is very much inferior to the Peloponnese! There are no sights in Halkidiki, Mystras, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Olympia, Corinth, Namfplin, Athens, Lavrion, Sounion is the Peloponnese. Delphi almost. Halkidiki is just sandy beaches and hotels promoted by travel agencies "under Turkey". There is Athos, but women will not get there, and men need to try - they have their own visa, you need to follow a lifestyle, etc. The Peloponnese is the mountains that start right out of the s ...
