The beauty of Halkidiki is very much inferior to the Peloponnese! There are no sights in Halkidiki, Mystras, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Olympia, Corinth, Namfplin, Athens, Lavrion, Sounion is the Peloponnese. Delphi almost. In Crete, I strongly advise you to take an excursion to Santorini, if finances allow, then for 2 days, since there is a catastrophically little time for a one-day trip. 1 day costs 90 euros - street agencies (2013 prices) from operators about 160 euros. I am sure that Kefalonia is a beautiful island and Myrtos beach is a heavenly place. But I could still express my opinion. And maybe it will help someone. Here is a tiny nameless beach on Zakynthos.
